The Climate Dance Continues

kerry2At the COP-22 conference on climate change in Morocco this week, Secretary of State John Kerry said, “No one has a right to make decisions that affect billions of people based on solely ideology or without proper input.”  That he could not see the intense irony of his own statement goes without saying.

I’m sure Kerry is among those who has donned sackcloth and ashes this week anticipating the arrival of a President who sees the Climate Change Industry for what it is…a thinly-veiled effort to take from some to give to others.

It’s always been frustratingly funny debating with someone who worships at the Church of Our Blessed Climate Change (nee: the International Church of Global Warming.)  It usually goes something like this:

“Um…how can it be global warming when it’s ten-below and there snow up to my asshole?”

“Global Warming means cold weather, too!”

“OK…so last summer, we had several 100-degree days.”

“Global WARMING! Duh!”

“Alright…we didn’t have any significant hurricanes this year.”

“Well that falls right into the Global Warming pattern. Sometimes you have lots of hurricanes…sometimes very few. It’s all Global Warming.”

“I see. Well last year, we broke a seven-year drought with slightly above-average rainfall in my state.

“Well, that’s Global Warming for ya. Sometimes it leads to droughts—sometimes it leads to floods. Hard to predict.”

“Gotcha; so every weather event ever recorded is directly related to Global Warming?”

“Yes! How can people keep denying it! The Science is settled, I tell ya!!!”

“Allrighty then…what can I do to stop it?”

“Give me all your money.”

And so it goes…
